1 hospitalized after West Ashley shooting

Charleston, South Carolina – One person was transported to an area hospital after a shooting incident in West Ashley early Friday.

According to Charleston Police, the shooting took place along Ashley River Road around 12:30 a.m.

Authorities said one victim was shot in the arm and abdomen, though that person’s condition is not known at this time.

No arrests have been made thus far.
