12-year-old Charleston girl reported missing, family and police asking community for help in locating her

Charleston, South Carolina – Charleston police and the family of the 12-year-old missing girl are asking the community for help in locating the girl.

The family reported Milagro Martinez-Zelaya missing after being last seen on May 22nd around 11 p.m. in Charleston.

The police have reason to believe that the girl might be together with a male named Danny Jose Mejia Gomez. According to them, they both might be traveling to Charlotte, N.C. in a four-door white sedan.

The girl is five feet tall, weighing approximately 135 pounds and having brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing orange hoodie and black shorts.

Anyone with information that might help in locating the girl is asked to call 911, Charleston County Sheriff’s Office at 843-202-1700 or Consolidated Dispatch at 843-743-7200.
