Charleston, S. C – The annual 9/11 heroes run for 2021 is scheduled for September 11th.
This is the first time the event to take place on 9/11.
Organizers of the event hope people will finally begin to save the date as this year marks 20th anniversary.
The event is scheduled at 8.30 a. m.
The run has donated more than $160,000 to local heroes in the past years. According to the organizers, this is backed up by more than 15 different first responder organizations.
The same amount of money has been invested in Travis Manion Foundation.
Travis Manion Foundation is used to support and help Gold Star families, inspire future leaders and support the nation’s veterans.
