A man robs convenience store with flare gun, authorities are asking for public help

Columbia, South Carolina – Columbia Police Department is asking for public help for identifying a man for robbing convenience store with flare gun.

The suspect performed the act on Feb. 22 around 2:30 p.m. at the Circle K at 806 Broad River Road.

The man enters the store as any other then he grabs a beer. As soon as he approached the cashier, the pointed the gun at him and ordered the cashier to open the safe and give him the money. Everything was caught on CCTV camera.

The man left the store as soon as he took the cash.
