ALERT: Crash in North Charleston, 18-wheeler blocks all lanes on I-26 East

North Charleston, South Carolina – 18-wheeler crashed and blocked all lanes on I-26 East near marker 211.

According to the police and fire department reports, the crash happened around 7 a.m. where 18-wheeler was involved and blocked all lanes.

The incident took place just past the Ashley Phosphate Road exit.

According to ABC News 4, travel time from Summerville is taking more than hour and a half.

Drivers are asked to exercise caution when crossing in the area and are advised to avoid this and use alternative routes.

No details about possible injuries were given at this time.
