ALERT: Crash on I-26 closes lanes, long line formed

Charleston, S. C. – Tuesday morning crash on I-26 closes lanes along the eastbound side, long line is formed due to crash.

According to officials, the incident took place around 6.30 a.m. near the Exit 212C. Two lanes are still closed as a result.

An hour later, a vehicle was spotted on the back of a tow truck. It was Mount Pleasant Police vehicle but it’s still unclear if the vehicle was involved in the crash.

Minutes later the traffic started to move better. Authorities are still on the scene.

No injuries were reported. Drivers are asked to avoid this area.
