Another deadly shooting in West Ashley in a matter of days, one person killed

Another deadly shooting took place in West Ashley Wednesday evening after last weekend’s shooting in the area.

According to police, one person was shot and killed on Wednesday around 9 p.m. in the 1700 block of Ashley River Road.

Officers were dispatched at the scene following a 911 call in regards to a shot fired.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located one male victim suffering gunshot wounds.

He was transported to hospital for treatment where he later died.

The identity of the victim was not immediately released by the police.

Authorities don’t have suspects at this time.

The investigation about the case is ongoing.
