At least four people injured in Monday’s night West Ashley multi-vehicle crash, police

West Ashley, South Carolina – Multi-vehicle crash in West Ashley Monday night resulted with several people injured and transferred to hospital, local authorities confirmed.

According to the Charleston Police Department, the multi-vehicle crash happened in the area of Ashley River Road and Sam Rittenberg Boulevard just before 9:30 p.m. and officers arrived at the scene shortly after the 911 call.

As per the responding officers, a total of four vehicles were involved in the crash and four people were injured, but their injuries were non-life-threatening and all of the victims were in stable condition.

Sgt. Elisabeth Wolfsen with CPD confirmed that two victims were transferred to hospital for further treatment.

All vehicles involved in the crash reportedly suffered significant damage.
