Authorities revealed the identity of the victim in the North Charleston vehicle-pedestrian crash over the weekend

Sunday’s vehicle-pedestrian crash was fatal for one person and the Charleston County Coroner’s Office has revealed the identity of the victim.

According to them, the victim was identified for the 37-year-old Matthew Clark who dies as a result of the heavy injuries sustained in the crash.

Charleston County Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal said that Clark died from multiple blunt force injuries.

As multiple sources reported, the crash took place early Sunday morning on Rivers Avenue and the Highway 52 connector around 3 a.m.

The investigation about the crash is still ongoing and more details are expected in the upcoming days.
