Baby boy dies of starvation, dehydration in his car seat next to the mother who died of overdose, autopsy shows

The recent results of the autopsy show that the baby who was found dead earlier this year at his car seat died as a result of starvation and dehydration. The mother of the baby, who was also found dead at her home next to the baby, died as a result of a drug overdose the autopsy revealed.

Both of the victims were found at their home in February. The mother was identified by police as 32-year-old Tiffany S. and the baby boy who was only 1-year old was identified as Nicholas C.

Deputies responded at the scene when they received a call from a probation officer who made a home visit. Police reports revealed that the officer asked for an immediate medical emergency just minutes after she arrived there.

Probation officer visited Tiffany’s home and found out that the doors have been locked. When the officer looked in a window, she saw Tiffany’s 3-year-old daughter running around the home while the mother, was lying on the ground motionless. She immediately called 911 and asked for immediate medical help.

It was more than obvious that something is not all right and the responding officer, who came in minutes after the call, broke the door and entered the Tennessee. When he and the probation officer entered the house, they found the woman laying on the floor, a 3-year-old girl running in the living room and infant trapped in his car seat on the ground with blood on his nose.

The 3-year-old girl was immediately transferred to hospital for examination. She was stable and in good health condition.

Emily Dennison, who conducted the autopsy on February 10^th, released the initial results of the autopsy shortly after the incident, but the final reports were released earlier this month. According to those reports, the mother died as result of drug overdose, or to be exact, combined drug toxicity from methamphetamine and fentanyl. She was dead for several days.

The 15-month-old baby boy died as a result of starvation and dehydration. Responding officers found different kinds of dried food around the car seat where the infant was located. That indicates that his sister tried to take care of him for the whole period.

Dennison ruled both their deaths accidental in nature.
