Charleston man is dead as a result of vehicle, bicycle collision

Charleston, South Carolina – Late Tuesday morning collision with a vehicle was fatal for one Charleston bicyclist.

According to official report, the police received a 911 call related to a collision around 11:30 a.m. at Cosgrove Avenue.

The bicyclist suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision.

The road was closed for more than two hours and Charleston police assisted with traffic control.

The ongoing investigation should reveal how the accident happened.
