Charleston Police Department’s annual “Santa’s Escort Ride” set for Wednesday

Charleston, South Carolina – The Charleston Police Department will be escorting Santa as he rides through Charleston delivering gifts to the Ronald McDonald House and Fisher House on Wednesday, December 16th.

The goal is to raise awareness and offer support for families as they undergo treatment. The ride will start at the Charleston Police Department at 180 Lockwood Blvd. The elves will load the sleigh and leave the station at 10 AM.

Santa will pick up donations from three businesses on King Street then head to the Ronald McDonald House at 81 Gadsden Street and the Fisher House at 150 Wentworth Street.
