Covid-19 report: less than 500 news positive cases, numbers back to average for this period

Columbia, South Carolina – 495 new positive Covid-19 cases were reported on Thursday in DHEC announcement.

In the daily report, 20 people lost the battle with the virus.

Latest report rose the total number to 469,467 confirmed coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic. The total number of deaths is 8,138.

11,376 molecular test results were among the latest round to be reported to DHEC. Of these, 5.6 percent were positive.
