Daycare worker arrested for assaulting infants, three of them suffered injuries

West Ashley, South Carolina – Lowcountry daycare worker was arrested on Friday for assaulting infants police say.

Tina Rose Nye, 55-year-old, was assaulting three infants ranging in age from one to five months at Carousel Early Childhood Center on Jenkins Road in West Ashley earlier this week.

Nye was “repeatedly shaking the victims in a violent manner,” swinging the infants, and not supporting the victims head and neck when necessary, the security video at the daycare shows.

According to the medical reports, all three infants suffered injuries due to these actions by the daycare.

The suspect has been held in jail and should appear in bond court.
