DHEC reported less than 600 new Covid-19 cases in South Carolina, 3 Covid-19 related deaths added

South Carolina – South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control continues to report low and stable numbers regarding the Covid-19 situation across the state.

In their latest report issued on Monday, a total of 684 new Covid-19 cases were added in the overall statistics.

DHEC say that 562 are considered as confirmed cases, while 122 cases are considered as probable.

Total of three Covid-19 related deaths were added in the same report. According to DHEC, 2 deaths are considered as confirmed, while one death is considered as probable.

Since the start of the pandemic, South Carolina added a total of 893,626 Covid-19 cases. 716,519 of those are considered as confirmed, while 177,107 cases are considered as probable.

The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic reached 13,559. 11,731 deaths are considered as confirmed, while 1,828 are considered as probable.

The positivity rate in the latest report was 4.6%.

DHEC say that a total of 37,391 Molecular tests were conducted. With those tests, the total number of tests made in Palmetto State is now 11,655,740.
