DHEC: South Carolina added 261 new Covid-19 cases along with 17 deaths, Sunday report

Columbia, South Carolina – The state of South Carolina added 261 new positive Covid-19 cases in the Sunday’s daily Covid-19 report.

A total of 17 deaths were also reported.

With the latest numbers, Palmetto State now reached a total of 488,797 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic. The total number od deaths rose to 8,498.

Total of 10,905 tests were made, which is lower compared to Saturday. However, the positivity rate was higher, standing at 3.5%.
