Driver dead in single vehicle crash in Orangeburg, report

Orangeburg, South Carolina – Early Saturday morning single vehicle crash in Orangeburg results with one person dead.

According to police reports, the crash happened Saturday morning around 2:30 a.m.  on Cannon Bridge Road.

The single vehicle crash happened when Chevrolet pickup traveling south on the road left off the road and hit a tree.

The driver, who was alone at the time of the accident, was not wearing seatbelt according to police.

There is ongoing investigation about the incident.
