Female victim dies as a result of the Saturday afternoon shooting in North Charleston

Charleston, South Carolina – There is ongoing investigation for the shooting that took place Saturday afternoon in North Charleston.

According to the authorities, they received a 911 call for the shooting and responded to the 2000 block of Pine Field Court around 1:30 p.m.

Female victim was found on the scene with gunshot wounds. The victim later dies as a result of the shooting. There is no information about the identity of the victim at this point of the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing with the help of NCPD detectives.
