Fire crews responded to Friday early morning house fire in Galivants Ferry, one injured

Horry County, South Carolina – One man is injured as a result of the house fire that took place in Galivants Ferry, officials say.

Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a call to a house fire early Friday morning.

According to their report, the fire occurred around 6 a.m. to Brunson Spring Road.

When arrived, only one room in the house was caught by the fire crews extinguished the fire without further spreading.

One person was injured as a result of the fire and transferred in a local hospital for treatment.

No details about the condition of the injured were given.

There will be investigation about what happened and how the fire started.
