Gas prices in South Carolina with slight change, national average drops

Charleston, South Carolina – While the national average gas prices dropped, South Carolina residents have to pay slightly higher gas prices.

Last week gas prices in Palmetto State were $2.63 per gallon which was slightly higher compared to last week. Last week average was 1.3¢ per gallon higher.

Meanwhile, the national average gas price dropped for 0.3¢ selling $2.86 for a gallon of gas.

Compared to last year this period, South Carolina residents pay 76.6¢ per gallon more.

The price is expected to rise in the upcoming period.
