The Covid-19 numbers in South Carolina continue to decline as DHEC reported less than 500 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday.
According to DHEC, South Carolina added 424 new Covid-19 cases and 13 additional deaths in Tuesday’s report.
DHED said that 305 cases were confirmed through PCR tests and another 119 detected through rapid tests. All 13 deaths are considered as confirmed.
With the latest numbers, South Carolina now reached 899,912 COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic and 13,766 COVID-19 related deaths.
721,178 cases were detected using PCR tests and 178,734 were detected with rapid tests.
When it comes to total number of deaths, 11,897 deaths classified as “confirmed” and an additional 1,869 classified as “probable.”
