Local company looking to hire nearly 5,000 workers, to host job fair on Saturday and offer competitive pay

Since we are getting closer to the holiday season, many companies are looking to hire additional workforce to meet the demand and increased operation during the following months.

Those looking for a job will have the possibility to get hired this Saturday as local company will host job fair in an effort to hire nearly 5,000 people.

According to multiple reports, Belk will host a job fair on Saturday, October 16, at all Charleston-area Belk locations. The company said they are looking for full-time, part-time and season workers to numerous open job positions in sales, beauty, and operational positions.

The event will run from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday at all Belk locations.

The officials with the company said that during the day all Covid-19 measures will be in place including wearing masks and social distance.

Those interested in any of the job positions should expect competitive pay, flexible scheduling options, more than 10 employee double discount days during holiday season and a 20% discount on all Belk purchases starting day one.

Officials with the company said that they are looking for both experienced and inexperienced workers. Although previous retail experience is welcome, it’s not required and everyone is welcome to apply for the open job positions.
