Man arrested believed to be responsible for Saturday’s house fire in Georgetown, report

Georgetown, South Carolina – Dedrick Adams was arrested and charged by the Georgetown Police Department believed to be responsible for the Saturday’s house fire in Georgetown.

According to police, the man is charged with second degree burglary and second-degree arson.

The incident occurred on Reservoir Street in Georgetown. The house belonged to Adam’s ex-girlfriend where she lived together with her children. Luckily, no one was at home during the time of the incident.

No injuries were reported.

Adams is awaiting bond hearing.
