More than 10,000 vaccination appointments are postponed as a result of the winter weather conditions

Charleston, S. C. – More than 10,000 appointments for Covid-19 vaccination are delayed due to winter weather conditions, authorities confirm.

FedEx facility in Memphis and the UPS facility in Louisville are the largest vaccine shipping hubs responsible for the region and both of them were hit hard by the winter weather in the last couple of days.

The vaccine supply for the state of South Carolina was impacted, therefore, thousands of appointments had to be postponed.
