More than half of South Carolina gas stations without fuel, national average price hits $3

Charleston, South Carolina – More than half of the gas stations in South Carolina are still without gas on Friday morning.

Although the percentage is slightly less than it was Thursday, many people still struggle to find stations with gas supply.

According to Gas Buddy, at lest 51% of the gas stations in Palmetto State are dry. That’s only 1% less compared to Thursday.

The restart of the pipeline late Wednesday will not immediately affect the gas stations across the country. Experts say outage numbers will probably rise in the next days before they start to fall.

National average price has gone to $3, the highest we have seen in the last seven years.
