North Charleston, South Carolina – The North Charleston Police Department said that a 25-year-old man, whose identity is still not released, was the victim in the Saturday’s fatal shooting in North Charleston.
According to the incident report, officers with the NCPD were dispatched at the scene to the 2600 block of Ranger Drive following a 911 call in regards to a shooting and at least one person being shot. At around 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, the responding officers found a Nissan Altima stopped in the roadway.
Right after their arrival, officers ordered three males to get out of the vehicle. The 25-year-old victim was at the backseat of the vehicle in critical condition suffering gunshot wounds.
Officers tried to treat him at the scene, but the victim was already dead, the report from the police confirmed.
The investigation about the fatal shooting is still ongoing. The police didn’t provide more details as of writing of this article.
No arrests have been made so far.
