New operation hours for 2021-2022 school year in Georgetown County, report

Georgetown County, South Carolina – Teachers in Georgetown County are looking the change the operation hours in the schools for 2021-2022 school year.

According to the Georgetown County School District, elementary schools will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

They also added that middle schools and high schools will operate Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The GCSD says they want to thank their stakeholders for their survey responses and ongoing partnership in helping students succeed.
