Officer helping driver with flat tire in the middle of a road in Summerville

Summerville, South Carolina – Summerville police officer was spotted assisting a driver with flat tier in the middle of a road.

“It’s never fun to have your car breakdown in the middle of the road on a scorching hot day, let alone in the middle of Trolley Road,” said the Summerville Police Department.

According to bystanders, the officer spotted the disabled car and stopped his patrol car. When he saw what was the issue, he parked the patrol car in front of the vehicle, turned the lights on and started helping the driver.

“This is what the ‘To protect and serve’ really means, we are glad to see officers helping those in need,” people said.
