One dead in shooting in Florence after midnight, police

Florence, South Carolina – One man was found dead in Florence County shooting that took place around Midnight.

The police say they responded to a 911 call regarding shooting to the area of Howe Springs Road in Florence. The witnesses say the man was shot through a vehicle.

The shooting has been treated as homicide. Police found the dead body when they arrived on the scene.

The identity of the victim was not released.

The investigation is ongoing. We will update the case with more information soon.
