Pine Field Court shooting, 74-year-old woman dead as a result of the shooting

Charleston, S. C. – The police identified the victim who was shot and killed in Pine Field Court on Saturday.

Mary Hayre of North Charleston, 74-year-old, is the victim of the shooting who died from a gunshot wound.

According to police report, the woman was found injured on the scene and taken to nearest hospital for treatment. Shortly after she succumbed to her injuries.

The police responded to a 911 call on Saturday around 1:50 p.m. to the 2000 block of Pine Field Court in regards to a shooting.

The authorities are still investigating the case.
