Saturday afternoon shooting in North Charleston results with two people injured and hospitalized, report

North Charleston, South Carolina – Two people were shot and injured in a shooting incident that took place in North Charleston Saturday afternoon, local police confirmed.

According to the incident report, the shooting took place around 4:30 p.m. and officers responded at the scene on Chatham Avenue following a 911 call in regards to a shooting.

When they arrived there, they found two shooting victims alive, but in critical condition. They were immediately transferred to hospital for treatment. Their condition remains unknown.

Local authorities didn’t say if they have suspect at this point of the investigation. No more details were released.
