Single vehicle crash in Orangeburg County Friday night results with one dead, ongoing investigation

Orangeburg County, South Carolina – One person is dead as a result of the Friday’s night single vehicle crash in Orangeburg County, police say.

According to the incident report, the accident took place Friday night on I-95 South near mile marker 87.

The police said that the vehicle was travelling on I-95 South, went off the road and overturned into water.

The investigation should reveal what led to the accident.

The police said that the driver was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the heavy injuries he sustained as a result of the crash.

The driver was alone in the car and he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The identity of the victim was not released by the police yet.
