Slight drop in gas prices in South Carolina, drivers drive cheaper

Columbia, South Carolina – Gas prices in South Carolina slightly dropped this week, despite the increase in national average gas prices.

According to GasBuddy latest report, gas prices dropped for 2.8¢ per gallon last week in South Carolina, now averaging $2.80 per gallon.

The national average gas prices increased by 0.6¢ meanwhile. National average price was $3.04 per gallon last week.

Compared to last year same period, SC drivers now pay $1.12 more per gallon. Compared to last month, prices are currently 20.1¢ higher.
