Slow left line drivers to get a ticket, South Carolina Senate passes the bill

Columbia, South Carolina – Slow left line drivers on a highway to get a ticket. The South Carolina Senate passes the bill.

According to the bill, drivers will have to move from the left lane on a three-lane highway when overtaken by other vehicles.

The bill passed the Senate fines drivers $25 but won’t add points to their license.

The House passed their own version with $200 fine. However, the House can now accept the Senate’s version or they will have to find a compromise.

In recent years, several versions were discussed at the General Assembly, but none of them have passed.
