Charleston County, South Carolina – Some schools withing the Charleston County School District will begin to offer free Covid-19 testing for those interested.
According to the school district, every weekday there will three different locations opened though next week.
The school district added that there will be one site open for testing during the weekend that will be opened on Saturday, October 9.
The free testing locations will be initially opened today, Wednesday, and these are the locations for the first day:
The sites will be open starting 3:45 p.m. until 7 p.m. every day.
The schedule for the free vaccination sites was released for the whole week by the school district and those interested can find more information on the following link.
Those interested will have to show the consent form that should be completed in advance and can be downloaded from this link.
The school district presented the decision for free Covid-19 testing in an effort to slow down the spread of the virus claiming that early detection of infected people will lower the number of cases in schools.
