South Carolina police looking for stolen truck, maybe part of homicide

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. – Georgetown County authorities are in search of a stolen truck that might be part of a homicide.

William Butler Jr., 69-year-old from the Andrews area, was found dead on Wednesday on Gapway Road.

Similar truck was reported stolen from the same area at the time of the accident.

The vehicle is described as a red 2003 Chevrolet Model S-10 Z71 with a plate reading V31609.

Anyone who sees the truck can call 911 or Senior Investigator Hank Carrison 843 436-6058.
