Stabbing incident in North Charleston on Sunday afternoon, two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police

North Charleston, South Carolina – Two victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries in Sunday afternoon stabbing incident in North Charleston, the local authorities confirmed.

According to the incident report, deputies were dispatched at the scene to the 7500 block of Tedder Street just before 5 p.m. When they arrived at the location, deputies found two victims with non-life-threatening stab wounds.

Both of the victims were transferred to hospital for treatment in stable condition.

The suspect, later identified as the 22-year-old Christopher Lewis Rawls, was located at a convenience store in the area. He was arrested by the police after the victims gave a description of the attacker before they were transferred to hospital.

The suspect is facing several charges including attempted murder and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature charges.

He was brought to the Al Cannon Detention Center.

The investigation should reveal the motive behind the incident. The victims meanwhile confirmed they were not related to the attacker.
