Sunday accident in Charleston fatal for bicyclist, the involved vehicle fled the scene

Charleston, South Carolina – An accident at the intersection of Rivers Avenue and Remount Road on Sunday just after midnight was fatal for a bicyclist.

According to the police, they responded to a call for the accident with vehicle and bicycle involved.

The police confirmed that the bicyclist is dead after a vehicle hit him. The vehicle left the scene right after the incident.

Deputies found the car later.

The investigation is ongoing. No information about charges is available at this time.
