The 5-year-old South Carolina autistic girl reported missing found dead in the Black River Tuesday night, authorities confirmed

Georgetown County, South Carolina – The body of the 5-year-old Collins Elizabeth “Lenny” Lusk, previously reported missing, was found in a Georgetown County river, local authorities confirmed.

According to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, Lusk’s dead body was found Tuesday night, around 10:30 p.m.

As multiple sources previously reported, Lusk was an autistic child. The police say no foul play is suspected.

The girl was last seen playing in a backyard sandbox shortly after 7 p.m. at Cherokee Drive, Georgetown.

The local authorities didn’t provide more details about the case.
