The identities of the victims who died in last week’s crash in Dorchester County revealed, police

The multi-vehicle crash last Friday in Dorchester County on U.S. Highway 17-Alt resulted with two people killed, police then said.

According to them, the victims in the crash were identified as the 65-year-old David Blackstone of Summerville and 21-year-old William Logan Kittrell of Walterboro.

As Dorchester County Coroner Paul Brouthers confirmed, both of them were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash took place approximately eight miles south of Summerville in the morning hours after 7 a.m.

An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday morning at MUSC, he said.

The crash remains under investigation.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation and more details are expected in the upcoming period.
