Timmonsville, South Carolina – The man who was tased by a Timmonsville police officer dies two days after the incident.

Following his death, the State Law Enforcement Division is about the investigate the man’s death and the complete incident.

Spokesperson Tommy Crosby said that the man who died was involved in an altercation with a Timmonsville PD officer.

The SLED investigation was requested by the Timmonsville Police Department.

No more information is available at this point.
