‘There Is Something Going On’: Former White House doctor calls Biden’s office for immediate cognitive test

Former White House doctor, Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson of Texas, calls for Biden to undergo immediate cognitive test as his strange behavior and everyday gaffes continue every day since taking the office. Just for a clarification, Jackson was a White House physician for former presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

“The far left and the mainstream media were demanding that be the new standard for anybody who’s going to lead our country and be our commander in chief and our head of state,” Jackson said Saturday, according to Fox News.

“I’m just saying I agree with them at this point — we need to get it done,” he said.

According to Jackson, the cognitive test standard set by Trump when Democrats asked him to take it, seems to be a good idea. Trump scored 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment in 2018, when he was entering his second year in the Oval Office. The same applies for Obama.

Jackson was the one who administrated the test for Trump. He added that this test is not an IQ test, but rather a test to determine early stages of cognitive decline and dementia issues, or other age-related issues.

Jackson was among the many who joined the Republicans asking Joe Biden to be tested as soon as possible, since it looks like Biden’s health condition is urgent and he is experiencing cognitive decline. Since taking the White House in January, Biden entertained the public with many gaffes, happening almost on every single public appearance.

His last appearance in a pie shop in Michigan on Saturday, was described as “Confused Joe Biden”:

“I think he’s demonstrating every single day that there is something going on,” Jackson said.

“You don’t need to be a physician to look at this behavior and see there’s something concerning happening.”

With joining his fellow Republicans asking Biden to take the cognitive test, Jackson says all Biden has to do is to follow Trump. And nothing more.

“I’m just asking them, when you do the physical exam include the cognitive assessment,” he said. “As far as I’m concerned the standard precedent has been set and they need to follow and do the same.”

White House office last month confirmed that Biden will take his physical exam at a later point this year. If done earlier than January 2022, that means it would be completed sooner than his predecessor’s health exams.
