Thursday afternoon pursuit in Charleston ends up with two arrested following armed robbery

Charleston, South Carolina – Thursday afternoon pursuit results with two people arrested following an armed robbery.

Goose Creek Police Department, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and North Charleston Police Department were all involved in the pursuit.

The two arrested people were involved in a robbery on the 5200 block of International Blvd around 2:30 p.m. According to the NCPD, they were stealing computers from a business.

They managed to rob a total of three locations in Thursday.

North Charleston Police officers tried to conduct a traffic stop around 3:30 p.m. but the vehicle fled. Shortly after, GCPD and BCSO joined the pursuit as the vehicle entered into Berkeley County.

At one point, officers lost the car, but they managed to locate it shortly after and set a perimeter. They finally stopped the vehicle and arrested two people that were in the car in the Crowfield Subdivision. There is ongoing investigation on the scene.

According to police reports, both men were armed at the time of arrest. Luckily, no one was injured.
