Tuesday night house fire in Myrtle Beach displaced a family of six, no injuries reported

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – Tuesday late night fire in the Myrtle Beach area completely destroyed family’s home, local fire department confirmed.

According to the incident report, the house fire was reported before 11:20 p.m. on Myers Lane and Horry County Fire Rescue responded at the scene.

Shortly after the arrival of the firefighters, the fire was put under control and extinguished with no reported injuries.

The fire department confirmed that a total of six people were living in the house who were displaced since their home was completely destroyed in the fire incident. The family was assisted by the Red Cross.

There is ongoing investigation that should reveal what was the cause of the fire.
