Two South Carolina residents won $50,000 each this past weekend; South Carolina lottery officials confirmed

Charleston, South Carolina – A lucky Texan has won a second-tier Mega Millions prize of $1 million by matching all five of the white ball numbers drawn. The winner chose to remain anonymous. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Buckeye Liquor store in Dallas, Texas. The prize could have been worth $3 million if the winner had opted for the Megaplier option. This win highlights the continuous success of Texas Lottery players who have won multiple jaw-dropping prizes in recent years.

The lucky winter decided to remain anonymous. The winning is one of the largest in the past week nationwide, but two lucky Palmetto State residents have won decent prizes this past weekend.

According to the South Carolina lottery officials, two people have won $50,000 each in the state for Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.

Emerging as a beacon of hope for those dreaming of striking it rich, a ticket bought at the Murphy USA on West Ashley Circle in Charleston emerged victorious in the Double Play drawing, a secondary drawing following the Powerball drawing, by precisely matching four of the white ball numbers along with the elusive red Powerball number.

The winning numbers for the Double Play drawing were unveiled as follows: 3, 14, 34, 56, 57 with a Powerball number of 2.

In yet another stroke of fortune, the officials have announced that the second lucky ticket, which clinched a win in the regular Powerball drawing by matching four white ball numbers and the red Powerball number, was sold at the RKBIZ LLC on Main Street in Travelers Rest.

The numbers that sealed the deal for this win were unveiled as follows: 11, 19, 21, 29, 52 with a Powerball number of 17.

As per the regulations, the winners have a window of 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize, which is undoubtedly a life-altering sum of money.

Notably, the probability of winning in both instances was 1 in 913,129, making this victory all the more remarkable and deserving of celebration.
