Charleston, South Carolina – Early Tuesday morning fire in North Charleston resulted with two people injured.
According to the reports, fire crews responded to the scene around 4:30 a.m. in on the 4700 block of Brossy Circle in North Charleston.
The rear of the home was in heavy fire when crews arrived on the scene.
The North Charleston Fire Department said that two people are injured as a result of the fire. One of them was already outside the home as he managed to escape the fire without serious injuries.
The second person was trapped in the apartment and fire crews rescued him. Both of them were transferred to hospital for treatment.
No details about their condition were given.
There is ongoing investigation about the cause of the fire.
