West Ashley Tool & Rental Opens For Business

Charleston, South Carolina – West Ashley Tool & Rental, Charleston’s newest outlet for tool and equipment rentals, quietly opened its doors this past July. Located at 13 Amy Elsey Drive off of Wappoo Road, the store offers turnkey solutions for tool and equipment rentals and service through its convenient online portal and app. Additional services include small engine repairs for lawnmowers, chainsaws, power saws, tillers, trimmers, edgers, pressure washers, and more; generator checks and refurbishment, and new and used equipment sales.

Looking forward to increased demand for equipment rentals as the cooler months set in, owners John DeStefano and Waylon Cain say that they “…could be crazy for opening during a pandemic.” Risky, perhaps, but West Ashley has welcomed the new venture as word gets out in the community of the opening.

West Ashley Tool & Rental keeps safety a top priority. All tools and equipment are fully sanitized using a commercial grade solution before and after use. Staff and customers are required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and adhere to CDC guidelines at all times. Curbside pickup and local delivery are also available.

The only tool and equipment rental shop in West Ashley, the store services the Charleston peninsula, James Island, Folly Beach, Johns Island, parts of Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island, North Charleston, and beyond.

As a welcome bonus, all new customers will receive an automatic 5% off their initial order.
