Another great opportunity for those looking for a job in the Lowcountry area as the SC Dept. of Mental Health will host two job fair events this week looking to hire locals.

According to the latest information, the SC Dept. of Mental Health will hold two job fairs this week in the Lowcountry, and one in the Pee Dee.

SC Dept. of Mental Health said they are about to hire multiple people for several job openings in Georgetown, Kingstree, and Conway locations.

For those looking for a job this is great opportunity since the Dept. of Mental Health is offering competitive salaries, multiple benefits including state health benefits and state retirement plan options as well as additional compensation.

All job fairs this week are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the department’s Waccamaw Center for Mental Health locations.

The first event is set to take place on Monday in Kingstree at 501 Nelson Blvd. According to the organizers, on this event they are looking to fulfill their Mental Health Professionals and Administrative Specialists positions.

The second event is set to take place on Wednesday. According to the organizers, they’ll meet applicants at their Georgetown location at 525 Lafayette Street. On the second event, the hosts are looking to fill three available positions including Mental Health Professionals, Administrative Specialists, and Client Advocates/Peer Support Specialists.

For those in the Pee Dee, the department is hosting a job fair Friday at their location in Conway. That’s located at 164 Waccamaw Medical Park Drive. Employers at this location say they’re looking for Mental Health Professionals, Direct Support Professionals, Fiscal Technicians, and Client Advocates/Peer Support Specialists.

Those interested for any of the mentioned job positions are required to fill an online application prior to the event they plan to attend.

They’re also asked to bring resumes, college transcripts, any certifications, and any other additional information that would be important for the job position.

Additionally, the hosts are asking those interested to dress properly for interviews.
