Authorities have found the dead body of the 80-year-old South Carolina woman reported missing last August, police

Rutherford County, North Carolina – The body of the 80-year-old South Carolina woman that was reported missing eight months ago, was found in a wooded area in North Carolina, the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.

According to the deputies, Edna Suttles, 80, had been reported missing on Aug. 27, 2021 and her body was found on Monday, May 16 in North Carolina. The local authorities confirmed the body was found in a wooded area off of Harris Holly Springs Road in Rutherfordton around 10 a.m.

One suspect, identified as Daniel Printz, of Rutherford County, believed to be responsible for the victim’s disappearance, is already in jail. The six-month-long investigation conducted by the FBI linked the suspect to yet another missing woman, Nancy Rego, of Charlotte.

When questioned by the authorities about the cases in March, Printz reportedly had said to them that he had killed four people.

The investigation about the case is still ongoing and several agencies, including Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of South Carolina and the 13th circuit solicitor’s office, took part in solving this case.

As of now, no more details are available, but authorities are expected to provide more information in the upcoming period.
