Carolina OB/GYN, a doctor’s office based in Georgetown County, will be giving away baby formula starting Thursday morning at 9 a.m.

Georgetown County, South Carolina – Parents of babies are still having hard times finding much-needed supplies of baby formula, a nationwide problem that has causing a lot of problems for months now. Lately, dozens of non-profit organizations and the local community organized in helping parents in need of formula.

Understanding the problem, a Georgetown County based doctor’s office decided to give away baby formula to those in need at a event that is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 30, starting at 9 a.m.

Carolina OB/GYN, doctor’s office in Murrells Inlet and Georgetown, will begin the event at 9 a.m. and people are invited to visit the lobbies of the practices where they will be given a bag containing one 7.2-ounce can of Enfamil NeuroPro mix-based powder and a carton of six 2-ounce bottles of Enfamil pre-mixed liquid formula. A nipple that fits 2-ounce bottles or home bottles will be included with each.

The doctor’s office employees said they will give away baby formula to everyone, not only to their patients, since they organized the event in an effort to support the local community.

Additionally, the organizers confirmed they will be giving away one piece per person and grandparents are invited to participate. The event is set to last until noon or until supplies run out.

The doctor’s office won’t accept phone calls regarding the formula and no supplies can be held for later pick up.
